Fond memories, for us guys from the late fifties, it seems. Great job Mr. West. Pop culture at it’s best. So glad you didn’t turn your back on what you did. Long live the REAL Batman, with tongue in cheek, they have been all so different, eh? (I’m Canadian)
awesome
Mr. West, i meet you in Chicago at the rosemont convention center on 3-19-2010. It was a great honor to finally meet my childhood hero ! I was with my wife and i year old son. i was the one who had all those posters for you to sign, and you let me come around on your side of the table and sit next to you for a picture, remember ? I got those pictures all over my house now. Thank’s for being really COOL, and thank’s for all the memories, and the best of health to you for many more years to come, your friend always, Ron. PS When you come back to Chicago next time email me and will go to Carsons Ribs downtown at Wells and Ontario for dinner on me and my family. A lot of celeberties from the past and present dined there. look it up. That would be a dream come true for an all american family ! Have a great holiday season and say hi to Burt !
theres a guy in fort wayne indiana where i live who loved the 60s batman series so much, he told his dad when he was little that he was going to make a replica of the bat mobile. well hes older now. his dad has passed on a long time ago. but he thought hed better make a bat mobile for his dad and fulfill his promised. after he got permission from dc comics and then he made 2 bat mobiles. theyre profiled on my facebook page if you like to check it out, id be most honored! thank you for your time mr west.
Señor west yo lo veia cuando transmitian batman en fox,era sumamente divertido; en verdad me encantaria que volvieran a transmitir otra ves su programa y me encanton cuando salio en jhonny bravo.
Always been a fan of pop culture. Was 4y.o. in ’66 and you made me into a die-hard Batman fan then.Always wanted to meet Michael Jackson (as a die-hard Jackson 5 fan) and always promised myself that the first thing I’d ask him was if he knew you – Batman was his favourite too .Sorry I didn’t get to meet him,but my other dream is to meet you one day.By the way,I was thinking you look good for someone who’s nearly 70,but found out you’re OLDER than that !
Hi Adam,
I was wanting to know how you are doing these day and what your next adventure might be. I do have a question…what would you be today if it wasn’t for Batman? I just ordered your book “Back to the Batcave” I can’t wait to get lost in it. Watching the Batman Series as a little girl on KCOP gave me hope that evil can be fought and overcome. Thank you.
Your Fan forever,
Nurse Bailey
We loved having you in Pittsburgh last weekend, Mr. West!
I didn’t have the pleasure of watching the Batman series during its tv days ( since I was born in ’78). I saw it on tv a few months ago and have not missed an episode yet…I love it! I look forward to seeing who the guest villain will be every night….
Mr. West, I have always been a fan of Batman and I believe you epitomize the Batman persona. I love all your work and I am glad you continue to share your wonderful brand of humor on Family Guy. I would like to wish you all the best and that you may continue to grow in popularity for new generations of Batman fans to come. Hoping to meet you someday (please do a tour of Canada!), regards,
Chris
I have always enjoyed his version of Batman, but I also enjoyed his role iin a 3 Stooges cowboy movie “The Outlaw Is Coming”
Mr West you are the bright Batman the dark night should be called just that. I loved your series and still enjoy watching it at 48. Theres only one Batman the one you played. So many people agree you were the best to ever play the role.
I still love batman and it is fun to see another person from ft.wayne, indiana is a fan and I enjoyed the batmobile it was so cool
Congratulations on your HEBREW NATIONAL commercial Adam West. I’m going down to LUCKY’s to pick some up right now. It must be on account of that great voice of yours. Who ever thought hot dogs could be made exciting?
I LIKE HEBREW NATIONALS AND ADAM WEST: SO COMBINING THE TWO IS AN EXCELLENT PAIRING. THO I OUT GREW BATMAN, IT IS STILL GREAT “CAMP”. THE MAN HAS A GOOD HEART. HE WAS KIND ENUF TO SIGN MEMORABILIA FOR ME WHEN HE VISITED MILWAUKEE ORE. SOME 12 YEARS AGO. I WAS OFFERED PICTURE TAKE WITH HIM, BUT DECLINED, WANTING TO SPARE HIS EYES ON ANOTHER NONSTOP FLASH. HEBREW NATIONALS ARE SPENDY BUT WORTH IT FOR TASTE AND QUALITY.
hi adam
It being 40 year since we work together on stage at cobo hall you and robin I was miss autorama sure miss those wonderful days. xoxox Best regard Chris
Mr.West i will always be your bigest fan
Bye
Mr. West, you are THE BEST Batman ever. I have been a fan of Batman ever since I was a little boy. Unfortunatly I wasn’t born until ’96 but, my dad was born in ’65 and he said he would always watch the re-runs in the ’70s. It was on TV land a while back and him and I used to watch it all the time. Then it was on WADL, now it’s on The Hub and I still watch it. I always have been, am and always will be a fan of your Batman :)
why isn’t Adams appearance at http://www.hollywoodshow.com at the Burbank mariott its the 45th anniversary and the largest batman gathering ever assembled oct 8th and 9th

Hi Mr. West,
I watched just about every episode of Batman in Primetime as a 6 year-old and have been hooked as a major fan for all these years. You are the best and hope I can have the opportunity to meet you one day.
P.S. I’ve owned several muscle cars over the years and the ’66 Batmobile is still my favorite car of all time…
To the Bat Cave! :)
Van
Hello, Mr West. I’m sure your have met others but my name is adam william west. Parents say the name was a total coincidence. I have a question. I live in scottsdale az. I was curious if you ever do any appearances in arizona. I would love to get a picture with you. Would love to get a picture with the real batman. That way when people call me batman I can show them the picture and say no thats batman. God bless!
Dear Mr. West.
Like many, putting in words what one feels about people you admire is not easy, and falls into the cliches. Only by asking you, what would you say to someone that inspired you when you where a child?
Batman came to me as a TV series in Mexico. I never liked Superhero comics. So you where it!
As I live my adult life and see my son running as the Joker, it triggers the Batman I was when I was his age. And the character you played gave me a sense of who I am still today.
I have no idea who you really are in real life, but, thanks for the inspiration, and please know, you have a special place in my heart, a complete stranger to you.
Many good moments in life Mr West!
Alex Urbe
