Adam plays a role in the recently launched Butterfinger campaign.  The fun, absurdly wacky campaign features the antics of the Buttefinger Defense League composed of Erik Estrada, Lou Ferrigno and Charisma Carpenter.  Their mission, to track down who’s behind a string of Butterfinger thefts plaguing the city.  Hmm…I wonder who could be masterminding this nefarious plot?

Rare Interview With Batman Cast

This is truly a wonderful and rare find!  It’s an interview from when the cast of the 1966 Batman film was in Austin for the film’s premiere.  The local CBS affiliate’s noontime host, Jean Boone, talks with  Catwoman (Lee Merriwether), Joker (Cesar Romero) and Batman (Adam West).  It’s a really special piece of history and trip down memory lane.

Watch the interview here.

Thanks to Martin Zamorano for the find.

Austin’s Night of the Bat

Adam West is in Austin, Texas today attending a truly unique and special event:  Austin’s Night of the Bat.  As home of the largest urban population of bats, Austin is throwing a one-day Bat-Extravaganza.  Mr. West is attending as the guest of honor and introduce a special screening of the original classic 1966 film Batman.  The theater?  None other than the Paramount, where the film premiered over 40 years ago.  The day continues with a host of special events, a welcome to Mr. West from the mayor, a concert, all culminating with a gathering to view the amazing 1.5 million bats emerge from under Congress bridge for their famous nightly flight.
